Thrive — [4.29.2020]
Time is a construct.
It’s artificial. A manmade overlay lumped onto and imposed into the natural rhythms and cycles of life and nature. It disconnects us from ourselves. From the present moment and renders us weak and fragile.
Our power lies in the present moment.
The universe can best support us when we flow with it, which we cannot do while preparing for the future or replaying the past. It is only in the present moment that we can tap into the broader order around us, the same force that fuels the trees and moves the moon. That wraps us up and lovingly whispers to us gently even if we ignore it. Our minds pull us away from feeling the unending love the universe has for us.
The safety we seek comes from within.
From stepping outside of time and into connection with the broader natural whole.
There we are never alone. There we remember what it is to be alive.
Because we are nature, in nature we thrive.
